Kathryn G. Kniola

Kathy Kniola is an advisor to top business leaders helping them connect their organizations’ talent and business strategies. She has a proven track record as a hands-on partner who creates value through effective human capital investment and management.  She has worked extensively with management teams on strategy development, team building and change management and has used organizational tools such as multi-rater/360˚feedback and integrated talent management systems. 

Most recently, Ms Kniola ran Global Talent Management for Aon Corporation, one of the world's largest insurance brokerage and management consulting firms with offices in over 120 countries.  There, she created and led the implementation of the firm’s global talent strategy designed to support the organization’s aggressive business plans. Under her direction, Aon's integrated selection, performance, development and retention strategy was developed and supported by a newly created leadership model and assessment process.  She also led the effort to establish global leadership programs and to automate a worldwide performance management system.

Prior to Aon, Kathy worked for J.P. Morgan Chase, formerly Bank One Corporation, leading the executive development and succession planning efforts.  She worked directly with the CEO and management committee to plan, design and deliver a senior leadership talent assessment and development processes.

Ms Kniola is a board member for Jacob’s Ladder, a juvenile occupational therapy non-profit, where she is the board sponsor for the Junior (teen) Board.  She is an active volunteer and does pro bono work for educational and not-for-profit organizations.  Ms Kniola earned her BA in Psychology and MBA from Indiana University.
